Our Story
KAMBENY, Lda is a Mozambican Company based in Maputo, established since 2008. Its core business is the supply of Medical Products and Equipment to Hospitals, Clinics, and Doctors and Medical Staff. KAMBENY is a Chuabo (native language) expression that means: “Let’s walk together”.
The Company was founded by Elídio Bilale and Cecilia Bilale, both Health Practitioners with more than 50 years of experience in the Sector.
Elidio Bilale was trained in Health Management, Logistics and Procurement in Brazil; he worked for the Ministry of Health for 40 years, having held the position of head of the equipment and logistics department. After retirement he worked as a logistician on the Swiss Cooperation, European Union and JSI projects.
Cecilia Bilale, Psychologist and Master in Population and Development, was Director of Government Health School for Several Years and after retirement for MOH, worked for United Nations, Red Cross Mozambique and International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF Mozambique).
KAMBENY HAS 13 YEARS IN THE FIELD OF HEALTH, added to the more than 40 years of professional experience of its founders, which allows it to have a very comprehensive domain and knowledge of the Mozambican Health System and Market.
